To the east, the tallest mountains are the Rocky Mountains, and the main southern desert is the Sahara Desert. California’s climate is the same everywhere. It is home to famous parks like Yellowstone, and Grand Canyon National Parks. To the east, California borders the Atlantic Ocean.
