Mid-Atlantic Colonies Correct-me Passage

This fun activity requires students to correct a passage about the Mid-Atlantic Colonies that has ten factual errors. Students first must discover the errors, then click on them and select the correct answer from the drop down menu.
 
 

Use this Activity:

 
Whiteboard - This is the perfect activity for students to come to the whiteboard, click the error, and select the fact. Alternatively, you can project to the whiteboard and call on students to identify the errors.
Group work - This is a great activity for students to break up into pairs and collaborate to complete the exercise on a single computer.

Extend - For a homework assignment, have students come up with their own factually problematic paragraphs and allow them to exchange with their classmates to see if they can correct each other's.
